Denver weather forecast this week: Scorching hot by Wednesday

Good morning. The high in Denver today, Monday, is a fairly pleasant 87 degrees. Skies are sunny with no sign of a storm, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will climb on Tuesday to 95 degrees and stay there through Thursday, potentially peaking as high as 96 degrees, creating wildland fire danger.

Things should be cooling off by the end of the week, bringing a chance of thunderstorms, according to NWS.
