Sven Andrighetto will be back with the Colorado Avalanche this season and barring anything unlikely, the season after that, too.
On Wednesday, the Avalanche announced that they'd reached a two-year deal with the Swiss winger that runs through the 2018-19 season.
Colorado sent Andreas Martinsen to the Montreal Canadiens for Andrighetto in a March trade. In 19 games with the Avalanche, Andrighetto recorded five goals and 11 assists.
Andrighetto, who was a restricted free agent, will earn $2.8 million over the course of the next two seasons. He is 24 years old.
