WINDSOR — A fire that gutted a 118-year-old flour mill in northern Colorado was arson, investigators said Sunday.
The federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives did not identify any suspects or a motive. It offered a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
No one was injured in the Aug. 6 fire in Windsor, about 60 miles (90 kilometers) north of Denver.
"Someone caused it, so someone out there knows what took place that night," said Debora Livingston, special agent in charge of the bureau's Denver office. "We hope they will come forward."
The mill's owner, Blue Ocean Enterprises of Fort Collins, was in the process of converting it into space for a brew pub and other businesses at the time of the fire.
The company said it has been cooperating with the investigation.
The future of the site is uncertain.
Federal investigators, Windsor police and Windsor Severance Fire Rescue analyzed debris, reviewed photos and videos and interviewed witnesses, Livingston said.
