Two homegrown talents will suit up for the United States women’s national team when they take on New Zealand later this month at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
Forward Mallory Pugh and midfielder Lindsey Horan both earned spots on the U.S. women’s national team’s 22-player roster, which was announced Thursday.
Pugh, who’s from Highlands Ranch, and Horan, who’s from Golden, will both represent their country as they play New Zealand in the first of two friendlies between the sides.
The match in Commerce City will kick off at 8 p.m. Sept. 15. ESPN2 will televise it. Then on Sept. 19, the U.S. and New Zealand will play again at Nippert Stadium in Cincinatti, Ohio.
