Vertix Builders has been tasked with constructing a four-story medical office within the Denver Tech Center, the company announced this week.

The Frederick-based builder is working with Denver-based Development Solutions Group and the Boulder-based architecture firm Boulder Associates on the office slated for South Havana Street and East Dry Creek Road. Vertix is expected to break ground on the project in December, according to the company.

The Dry Creek medical office is expected to include 53,000 square feet of tenant space, with a 10,000-square-foot, lower-level parking garage on a four-acre site in Englewood. Construction is planned to wrap up before the end of 2018.

Vertix has completed other healthcare-related projects including the Canyon View Medical Office Building in Grand Junction, Lowry Skilled Nursing Facility and the Denver Health Clinic in Denver. The company’s other notable projects include the remodel of Sigi’s Cabaret in the Tivoli Center on the Auraria campus and multiple projects for the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
