Things to do in Denver today, Oct. 24: Dinosaur Jr., ’90s TV Dinner and pumpkin carving for a cause
Happy Tuesday.

More than 30 years since their debut LP, Dinosaur Jr. is still chugging along, and not in the kind of way that makes your cringe.
They’re in town tonight, doing the good and loud thing they do, at the Gothic Theatre, 3263 S. Broadway. Tickets are $25, doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.
It’s ideal pumpkin carving time, and the Whittier Pub, 2000 E. 28th Ave., wants to help you do it while helping people in need.
Join them in making jack-o-lanterns at 6 p.m. and the money from your pumpkin will be donated to a local nonprofit. They’ll have contests for kids and adults, with prizes to be won.
And it’s business as usual at Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, 1215 20th St., where it’s ’90s TV Dinner night.
From 5 p.m. to close, get yourself a meat-veggie-dessert dinner and sip on Zima and wine coolers while watching your favorite ’90s shows. The meal is $18; admission and the warm comfort blanket of nostalgia are free.
