Another winter storm system will pass over Colorado today, bringing a chance of rain and snow, according to the National Weather Service.
The temperature capped out mid-morning and had fallen to 38 degrees by 2 p.m. NWS predicted a 30 percent chance of snow for the afternoon with snow accumulation totaling an inch at most. The foothills could see 2 to 5 inches, and snow showers are expected to clear out by midnight.
Friday will be cool and temperatures will warm back into the 50s and 60s this weekend, NWS forecasts. More snow is possible Monday.
