Good morning. The high in Denver today is 63 and it may reach 68 on Friday, which would count among some of the warmest temperatures the city has ever seen in January, according to the National Weather Service.

After that, of course, snow is expected to blow in later on Saturday. We could see light to moderate accumulations down here as the high on Sunday drops to 33 degrees.

Joel Gratz of OpenSnow predicts 5 to 10 inches of snow for most mountain ski areas this weekend. Denver has seen far less than average snowfall this season, per Weather5280.
