Good morning. The high in Denver is 41 degrees and snow is on the ground this morning. The storm was only expected to deliver snow showers in the metro area, including a chance for more snow after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

However, it could produce a blizzard in far northeastern Colorado, along with a few inches of snow in the mountains tonight.

Denver is likely to stay windy into Saturday. Temperatures will rise to the 50s on Saturday and the 60s on Sunday, NWS predicts.
