A fire has destroyed two residential buildings under construction in Denver.

The fire was reported around 1:55 a.m. at 1930 Grove St., just off Federal Boulevard near Mile High Stadium, the Denver Post reported.

Capt. Greg Pixley, spokesman for the Denver Fire Department, told the Post no one was injured and four people were evacuated from a nearby home. About 100 firefighters responded to the three-alarm fire.

The buildings were being developed as townhomes and were expected to finished by the summer. The fire also damaged a neighboring home but its residents were able to get out safely.

This is the second large construction fire in Denver this year.
In March, two people were killed in a daytime fire at an apartment building being built near downtown.
