Royal Rooster is officially on the roster of food options at the soon-to-open Broadway Market, and the food hall just got slightly delayed opening date of Feb. 22.
The fried chicken concept from Denver chef Justin Brunson — who also runs Culture Meat and Cheese inside Denver Central Market — is getting its first permanent physical location in Broadway Market at Broadway and 10th Avenue.
“We started Royal Rooster as a pop-up lunch at Old Major,” Brunson said in a press release. “After a few years we decided it was time to have a stand alone location. This first stand-alone Rooster will be a fast-casual operation featuring our favorite fried chicken sandwiches and a new rotating menu of sides.”
Royal Rooster joins Biju’s Little Curry Shop, Mondo Mini, Pizzeria Coperta, Mother Tongue, Maria Empanada, Misaki on Broadway, Wonder and Miette et Chocolat at Broadway Market, which is replacing Tony’s Market. The market will also have two retail shops: Velvet Wolf X Iron Wolf and Luna and Jasper.
