Mile High Brewery Battle: 8 Denver breweries keep on chugging

One Brewery to brew them all.

Hold on to your cans, the Mile High Brewery Battle has reached the top eight.

After another competitive round of voting, Denverite readers have decided on a diverse group of breweries to advance to the next round. There were two upsets in the round of 16, including our first 1-seed to go down. Great Divide was defeated -- just barely -- by Call to Arms. Pour one out.

But all the other 1-seeders are still in this thing, as is one scrappy, 6-seed underdog: Our Mutal Friend.

The Mile High Brewery Battle top eight includes a perhaps predictably strong RiNo Art (and Brewery) District contingent, with OMF, Black Shift and Ratio still in the game. TRVE and Cerebral are the remaining central-ish Denver spots, and Call to Arms, Station 26 and Comrade continue to prove that a brewery doesn't have to be centrally located to earn some popularity.

Now, let's see who can keep the momentum brewing as we head toward the final frothy four.

One Brewery to brew them all.
