Meet Denver’s favorite breweries: Ratio Beerworks

Denverite’s Mile High Brewery Battle has reached the Final, Frothy Four — a hard, and well-earned designation.
As we enter the penultimate round of voting, we want to take a minute to introduce you to the top competitors — just in case you haven’t met yet.
One of two remaining contenders in Five Points: Ratio Beerworks
Where: 2920 Larimer St.
Who: Owned by Jason zumBrunnen and Scott Kaplan
What and Why: Founded in 2015, Ratio Beerworks is located along a busy strip of Larimer lined with numerous other restaurants and bars. It’s got a huge patio and a penchant for live music.
The brewery was founded by friends who used to play in punk bands back in the day., and they haven’t forgotten about their roots, with beers named after rock bands and albums (see: Domestica and Hold Steady).
The brewery regularly contributes to local DIY, arts and LGBTQ causes.
When: Open from noon to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and noon to midnight Friday and Saturday
