The 24th Annual Denver Arts Festival will take place this Memorial Day Weekend in Central Park.

More than 150 Colorado artists and a select group of national artists will feature. Their work ranges from a mix of 2-D and 3-D mixed media art, clay and ceramics, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, photography and wood sculptor artists.

The free 2-day affair kicks off Saturday, May 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will continue Sunday, May 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Conservatory Green in the Northfield neighborhoods (8403 E 49th Pl).

The Denver Concert Band, Wendy Woo Band and Wirewood Station will perform live on the Civitas Music Stage.

There will be two food booths and wine and beer will be served by Odell Brewery, The Family Jones House of Spirits and alcoholic-free beverages by local Colorado brand, Gruvi. Kids are also welcome to paint on a mini 4″ x 4″ canvas magnet in the Kids Art Zone.

"The fact that we're marking our 24 th year is a strong testimony to the continued and growing popularity of the Denver Arts Festival, which has found a home at the Central Park location and has established itself as the premier arts festivals in the region," said festival director Jim DeLutes.
