Denverites should plan for snowy weather conditions and colder temperatures in the days ahead.

On Thursday night, temperatures will drop into the 20s and there's a slight chance of snow. By Friday night, there will be about a 70 percent chance of snow and temps will be between the 40s and 20s.

Come Saturday, there's a 90 percent chance of snow and temps will be in the 30s and dipping into the teens.

The winter weather could affect riding conditions for those taking part in the winter bike to work day this Friday

Some Denver residents are gearing up for the 2024 Winter Bike to Work Day this Friday, Feb. 9, an effort to celebrate commuters who trade in their automobiles for non-gasoline transport.

More than 2,400 Denver area cyclists have pledged to take part in the event. Organizers will offer  hot drinks, breakfast burritos and even on-site tune-ups, repairs and safety checks at rider appreciation stations around the metro area.

Riders can find those stations on this interactive map.
