Travelers can now reserve parking at the Denver International Airport.

The new program -- Premium Reserve Parking -- allows travelers to book a parking spot online between 90 days and five minutes of arrival at the airport. The program guarantees a parking spot by DIA, which often fills up during busy travel weekends.

But the promise of a good parking spot will cost you -- $50 per day, to be exact. That's compared to $30 per day at the regular, non-guaranteed garages, $18 per day at the economy lots and $8 per day at the shuttle lots.

The reservation program will not take up spaces in existing lots, according to DIA.

"At DEN, we are constantly striving to improve the travel experience for our passengers," airport CEO Phil Washington said Monday. "Premium Reserved Parking offers a seamless and efficient parking solution, allowing travelers to focus on their trip without the added stress of finding parking."

Premium Reserve Parking is the latest program at the fast-growing airport offering travelers opportunities to plan their travel in advance (shoutout to the airport dads).

In 2023 the airport introduced DEN Reserve, which lets travelers book a specific time in the security line in advance to skip what are often long lines. But some other programs -- like CLEAR, TSA PreCheck and now parking -- are reserved for those willing to pay.

License plate readers will control access to the lots, which connect a specific plate to a reservation. Travelers can sign up online.
