The Denver Center for the Performing Arts has released its 2024-25 Broadway series schedule and there may be something for every lover of musical theatre to enjoy.
The lineup of shows features a mix of both Tony Award-winning productions and returning familiar fan-favorites.
"Back to the Future: The Musical," "Life of Pi" and "The Wiz," a musical featuring an iconic score packed with soul, gospel, rock and '70s punk, will invite theatre goers to enjoy familiar tales adapted for Broadway.
The Buell Theatre will welcome the national tour launch of "Kimberly Akimbo," winner of five Tony Awards including Best Musical in 2023, as well as returning favorites "Hamilton," "The Book of Mormon," "Mamma Mia!" and "Moulin Rouge! The Musical."
Single tickets will go on sale at a later date, but 2024-25 Broadway Season Packages are now available. The passes grant buyers priority access to Broadway season shows as well as other subscriber perks like restaurant discounts and savings on DCPA education classes.
The season will kick off July 17 with a production of "The Second City: Comedian Rhapsody," a comedy of classic sketches and songs from the company's deep archive.
