Just kidding. It's definitely a small alligator that was on the loose in Thornton today. The police department tweeted a video of officers wrangling the snappy little guy, who was probably just trying to find some water in this damn dry place.
Everyone please keep a better eye on your reptiles. This is becoming a problem.
