Shoppers can buy a lot of things online, and the top five floors of one of Denver's most historic buildings in now one of them.
Ruschmeyer Corp. announced plans Thursday to sell the top floors of the Clock Tower at 1601 Arapahoe St. The Denver real estate firm is taking online bids for the nearly 105-year-old building through Dec. 15.
In July, Ruschmeyer Corp. listed that the tower was for sale.
At the time of its construction, the Clock Tower or Daniels and Fisher Tower was the tallest structure west of the Mississippi. The building was added to the National Register of Historic places in 1969.
Ruschmeyer Corp. is partnering with LFC Marketing Services to sell the tower online. The company is asking for a $25,000 deposit from bidders.
"It’s up to the public to determine the value of this unique property," according to a news release announcing the sale. The 2,838 square feet of space can hold more than 100 people.
