In-N-Out Burger has plans to move into Lone Tree and could open up shop there by the end of next year.

The impending arrival of an In-N-Out is a favored lie among lying liars, but we checked the receipts. The company submitted a site improvement plan dated Aug. 1 to the City of Lone Tree. It's scheduled for review by the city planning commission on Sept. 24 and by the city council on Oct. 15, according to the City of Lone Tree website.

Lone Tree Voice first reported the news.

The site the company is planning for is at 9171 Westview Road, just down the street from the Park Meadows mall. Suds Factory Car Wash & Auto Detailing Center currently occupies that lot. The site improvement plan predicts six months of construction, during which they'll tear down the car wash and replace it with their own, you know, more In-N-Out-y building equipped for burger-making.

In-N-Out announced plans to open in Colorado Springs back in the fall of 2017, and that location is expected to be ready by mid-2020.

At this rate, maybe we'll see one open in Greenwood Village by 2021 and Denver by 2022.
