Denver weather: Snow is rolling in today, y’all

We’ll see trace amounts up to an inch, maybe.

If you look out your window right now, you’ll probably see a few flurries furiously flying through a cold wind that’s part of a front that’s gonna drop temps in the Denver metro into the 20s overnight.

And with it will come a little bit of snow this afternoon (we’ll take what we can get).

Not as much as last time out, but some. The National Weather Service in Boulder says south and western Denver metro we can expect trace amounts up to an inch of snow. Most of  it is going to fall to our south, along the Palmer Divide (Castle Rock to Colorado Springs).

So stay warm and safe. And if you’re planning to drive out west through I-70 this three-day weekend, mind the extra traffic and and potential for snow.
