You’re invited to watch Denverite’s mayoral runoff debate
We’ve partnered with Denver 7 and the Denver Post for a televised debate scheduled for May 23 from 6-7 p.m.

The June 6 runoff is quickly approaching.
Choosing a mayor is a big deal here, given that the person in power could be in office for 12 years. You’ve told us about the top issues on your mind and you also told us how much you enjoyed The People’s Forum, where we highlighted issues important to communities of color in Denver.
So Denverite, Denver 7 and the Denver Post have partnered to host a debate featuring both Kelly Brough and Mike Johnston for a live televised debate to help you make the most informed decision as you choose Denver’s next mayor.
We’ll ask them about the biggest issues you told us matter to you, like housing, homelessness, public safety and more. We’ll also be asking some questions brought forward by community members.
The debate will be streamed on Denverite, our Facebook page, broadcast on CPR 90.1 FM, and televised on Denver 7. It starts at 6 p.m. next Tuesday, May 23.
Until then, be sure to read our voter guide, where you can learn about where Brough and Johnston agree or disagree on the biggest issues on your mind.
