Denver foodies, rejoice. It's the 20th anniversary of Denver Restaurant Week, the 10-day, two-weekend event where locals can check out specially curated menus from more than 200 restaurants.
Beginning Friday, March 1, and running through Sunday, March 10, gourmands of many budgets will be able to peruse the robust and growing culinary scene in Denver.
Here are the Denver Restaurant Week basics
As part of Visit Denver's programming for Denver Restaurant Week (DRW), restaurants will be organized by four different price point experiences: $25, $35, $45 and $55 multi-course meals.
Diners are encouraged to make reservations, especially earlier or later seatings or on days like Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday options.
Check out Denver Restaurant Week's official website for all menus, price points and participating restaurants.
Even Michelin-recognized eateries are on the Denver Restaurant Week lineup
Colorado's inaugural Michelin-guide was unveiled last year, crowning three Denver restaurants with an industry-coveted Michelin star and recognizing eight more with a "Bib Gourmand" designation.
Alongside those that came away with a star or a designation, 30 more Colorado restaurants were included in the guide receiving Michelin-stamped recommendations.
As part of this year's restaurant week lineup, five Michelin-recognized and -recommended restaurants will offer special menus, giving Denverites a chance to save some cash while trying out some of the city's culinary best.
Ash'Kara, which earned a Bib Gourmand recognition from Michelin's inaugural Colorado guide, will offer a $55 price point experience. Included in their restaurant week menu are tiered choices for four courses, one of which is a chef's featured dessert. First-course options like hummus or labneh, both normally priced at $10, can be paired with a third-course option like their Denver Cut Steak, normally priced at $42.
Dio Mio is a counter-service restaurant focused on fresh, handmade pasta offering a $45 price point experience. Their menu will also include a tiered four-course menu. A customer could order a sweet potato crochetta, local greens salad, rigatoni and dark chocolate pudding for $45, a deal that would normally be priced at a total of $47.
Another Michelin-recommended restaurant is Mercantile Dining & Provision, offering a $45 price point experience. Their special menu will be a starter, entree and dessert three-course menu. Visitors can choose the Baked Icelandic Cod as their entree, a main dish normally priced at $36.
